Familiar math rules turn into an interactive puzzle in Order of Operation Challenge. This math game asks you to solve expressions by following the correct order of operations. Brackets, powers, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction can all appear in the questions. CORE RULES AND GAMEPLAY
In Order of Operation Challenge, you need to solve mathematical expressions by strictly applying the BODMAS/PEMDAS rule of operation order:
- Solve the calculations within the brackets/parentheses first.
- Next are Powers and Square Roots.
- Perform multiplication and division from left to right.
- Finally, we have addition and subtraction from left to right.
The game offers four difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Pro. More difficult modes will award more experience points (XP). You have to answer 15 questions correctly before time runs out to advance to the next level.
Check Out Mathematical Traps
The game intentionally presents expressions that are easily confusing if calculated purely from left to right (for example: 5 + 3 x 2. If you choose the answer is 21 (Incorrect rule), you will lose your turn. The correct answer should be 11 (multiply first, then add).
