Test your timing and balance in Stack Tide, a physics puzzle game that challenges you to build a tower before the rising water catches up. You’ll move and rotate drifting blocks, then drop each piece onto your growing structure. Every placement affects the tower's stability, so careful positioning matters. Missed blocks fall into the water, while the rising tide leaves less room for mistakes. Build higher, keep your tower steady, and see how long you can survive.

BUILD A TOWER BEFORE THE TIDE RISES

Stack Tide challenges you to build a stable tower while the water level continues to rise. Geometric shapes (squares, rectangles, triangles, L-shapes, etc.) will appear and drift randomly. You have to utilize the rotation feature to find the safest contact angle. Flipping or standing a block upright will determine the stability of the entire tower’s foundation. When dropped, the blocks will bounce, slide, or tilt based on inertia. Even a 1-millimeter misalignment can create a domino effect, shaking and collapsing the entire tower.

Rising Tide Mechanics

The seawater at the bottom of the screen is your biggest enemy in the game:

  • Automatic floodwater level rise: Over time, the floodwater will rise steadily. If your tower builds too slowly, the rising water will engulf the lower levels.
  • The Penalty Mechanism: Every time you drop a block or a piece of brick into the water, the rate at which the sea level rises will immediately accelerate dramatically. A bad drop will cause the water level to reach the top of the tower much faster.

The game ends immediately when the water level rises to the highest point of the current tower, or when the tower completely collapses into the sea.
