ENJOY A CLASSIC CARD CHALLENGE
Solitaire Quest brings the familiar fun of Klondike Solitaire to your browser. This card puzzle game challenges you to arrange cards in descending order and uncover hidden cards to open new moves. Your goal is to move every card into the eight foundation piles, building each suit from King to Ace. Take a seat at the card table and work toward a winning deal!
Check the Card Layout
- Tableau: The main playing area contains ten columns of cards. Some cards start face down, so you need to uncover them as you play.
- Stock pile: This pile holds the remaining cards you can draw when you need more options.
- Foundation piles: These eight piles hold the completed suits. Build each one from King to Ace in the same suit.
UNDERSTAND THE GAME MECHANICS
The core objective in Solitaire Quest is to arrange the spade cards into complete sequences in descending order from King (K) to Ace (A). Once you complete a sequence in a tableau column, that sequence will automatically be moved to the empty cells above. You can only place a card on top of another if that card has a value exactly one unit less. When you have no viable moves left on the screen, click on the face-down pile in the upper left corner to deal another round of cards (each Tableau column will receive one face-up card).
Tips for Solving Faster
- Prioritize flipping face-down cards: Always try to move face-up cards to unlock the face-down cards underneath as quickly as possible.
- Utilize the empty column: Clear a column to use as a temporary card transfer station. Don’t place a King there unless absolutely necessary.
- Limit drawing new cards: Only click on the face-down card pool in the left corner when you have completely exhausted all your moves, as new cards will shuffle and lock the card sequences you are currently arranging.
